Supported Independent Living

Centre Disability Support champions the cause of every individual seeking a place they can call home. Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) program is tailored to help you find that special space, while also assisting with daily tasks to ensure a comfortable life.

What is Supported Independent Living?

SIL, an essential NDIS support, offers individuals with disabilities the choice to live with peers or independently. It focuses on daily tasks like cleaning, cooking, and personal care, promoting independence within a safe environment. Note: Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is separate, focusing on the physical accommodation.

Our properties are designed for comfort and security. Beyond housing, we provide:

● Cleaning, laundry, and cooking assistance.

● Personal care, including dressing.

● Help with appointments and medication.

● Encouragement in hobbies and public transport use

At Centre Disability Support, we understand the importance of a refreshing break, both for individuals with disabilities and their carers. Our Short Term Accommodation (STA) services offer just that – a rejuvenating escape where you can meet new friends, explore new activities, and recharge your spirits.

Short Term Accommodation

Understanding Short Term Accommodation

Previously known as respite under older systems, the NDIS has introduced STA to provide individuals with disabilities a temporary stay away from their usual residence. It’s not just about a change of scenery; it’s an opportunity to learn new skills, foster friendships, and indulge in diverse experiences. Moreover, it offers carers a well-deserved break, ensuring they can return to their roles rejuvenated.

What Makes Our STA Special?

Every property under Centre Disability Support’s STA is meticulously chosen to provide a genuine home-like feeling. A stay with us promises new encounters, novel experiences, and a chance for both individuals and their carers to recharge. It’s a mutual benefit that ensures well-being and happiness for all involved.

●  Activities Galore: Whether it’s catching the latest blockbuster, dining out, visiting the beach, exploring local attractions, or engaging in sports, our STA has something for everyone, irrespective of age or preference.
